This is how Elder Gunnell described the dog bite in his e-mail home. ....we were at the hospital Saturday night anyways. Elder Christensen was bit by a dog Saturday night. He didn't even provoke the mutt; it was just lying there and then bit him as he went by. So that night after talking to Sister Pagaduan, we were told to take him to the hospital here in Sibalom, which I now consider a worthless hospital. They asked about rabies and we weren't sure, and they freaked out, saying "What do we do for rabies?" So they scrubbed the bite with alcohol and iodine, and said watch the dog for ten days. If it dies then he has to get the shot. So to make sure he gets the shot, Elder Kleinman and I are thinking about going and killing the dog. Joke lang!! We wouldn't do that.
